Tobacco Market Share By Web Sales

When calculating the web sales, around half of the companies (47.54%) were found to bring in more than a million USD. Around a quarter (25.41%) witnessed web sales of $1M-$5M. 4.30% earned in the $5M-$10M range.

Tobacco Market Share By Region

Region wise, the United States clinched the top spot with 66.47% of the market share. Following far behind is the United Kingdom which makes up for the 15.78% of the tobacco companies accounted for. Canada, Japan and Columbia filled in the rest of the spots in the top five with 9.31%, 1.67% and 1.18% respectively.

When it comes to the tobacco industry, North America rules supreme with 92.38% of the total companies accounted for.

Only 0.80% of the companies under our lens brought in more than 500,000 visitors per month. 29.79% of tobacco stores witnessed less than a thousand visitors on a monthly basis. A majority of them – 57.31% saw somewhere around 10,000 and 25,000 visitors.
